How often should I take my pet to the veterinarian?
Dogs and cats age faster than humans, leading to significant health changes over a shorter time period. For puppies and kittens, it is recommended to have regular veterinary visits every 3-4 weeks until they are about 6 months old. In their adult years, dogs and cats should have annual checkups. Once pets reach 7-9 years of age, it's advisable to increase the frequency of vet visits based on their specific health needs.
